During her residency Oona Libens has been dealing with the topic of death and the afterlife

CHRONOVARIATIONS is an experimental 3D-sound piece for tenor saxophone, live electronics, resonating metal objects, and a space with magnificent acoustics. It explores the themes of time, resonance, and unfolding. Through Hartikainen's masterful saxophone performance and innovative use of electronics, the album invites listeners to explore a realm where sound evolves gradually.

Bon Alog. During her residency at Filmverkstaden, Bon Alog has been working with analogue archives from the Nordic–Baltic region, approaching found footage not as a stable historical record, but as a mutable, fragile material.

28.03.2026 – 19:00. Filmverkstaden-screening room. Live performance and 16 mm film screening by artist-in-residence. Passaggio Privato is an improvisational live cinema piece set in motion for the first time during the Filmverkstaden 3-month residency. Elvira approaches the idea of a private passage as both an inner crossing and a physical act of entering elsewhere.

On 21st September, Maia will invite you to a presentation of the work she has done during her residency in her on-going project Reflections on soil and agriculture. For the first part of her stay she has worked alongside farm workers at two farms in Singsby and Solf deepening her method of working - and thereof learning - alongside the people she makes pieces with and about.
